Stone panels

STONE PANELS

Achieve an exclusive expression with acoustic panels covered with stone slate from the Himalayas! Stone is a natural material and rather unique, as the structure is created by nature itself, and they can vary as a result.

For our range of stone-faced acoustic panels, we have used a unique technique that allows the thin stone veneer to be applied to the slats.

These panels are recommended to be installed in sets as the structure can only match up to two panels, after that the structure will be different.

The result is a perfect combination of aesthetics and design with a twist of steep mountain sides and natural colour play that is guaranteed to look impressive and unique while adding a bit of Himalayan history.

Achieve an exclusive expression in your home or workplace with acoustic panels covered with stone slate from the Himalayas.

Our range of stone covered acoustic panels use a very special technology to cut the stone extremely thin before mounting it on black MDF. This helps to preserve the stone’s original and rustic structure. The panels are made in sets of two, which means that the grain structure of the stone follows each other on two panels.

The result is a perfect combination of aesthetics and design with a twist of steep mountain sides and natural color play that is guaranteed to look impressive and unique while adding a bit of Himalayan history.

The panel's construction

Our acoustic panels are composed of three component, given you the best acoustics and an aesthetic expression.

THE FELT: sound moves in waves, and reflect back into the room when it hits a hard surface. By using a soft felt, the sound moves through the felt and the sound is absorbed, thereby reducing the reverberation. Our felt is available in several variants and colors - all of which have amazing sound properties.

THE SLATS: The more angles the sound has to pass, the more the sound is reduced. The structure and placement of the slats on the felt, means that the sound waves are broken before hitting the felt, hereby further enhancing the reduction of sound. Our slats come in three different types; Black MDF, Brown MDF and plywood.

THE VENEER: The stone veneer or surface of the slats is the final finish that defines our acoustic panels. Along with the rest of the panel, the veneer helps both match and create contrast to the rest of the interior.

Sound absorbing is important

Our felt plays an important role in the sound-absorbing properties of acoustic panels. Together with the structure of the slats, much of the sound normally reflected back into the room will be absorbed, creating a more comfortable indoor environment.
