Fire Retardant Panels

THE INDUSTRY’S ONLY FIRE-APPROVED ACOUSTIC PANELS

Our specially developed FR (Fire Retardant) acoustic panel, which is fire-rated, allows all players in the construction industry to optimize acoustics while simultaneously enhancing the interior Our specially developed FR (Fire Retardant) acoustic panel, which is fire-rated, allows all players in the construction industry to optimize acoustics while simultaneously enhancing the interior design and visual appearance of the room.

Panels for interiors, including walls and ceilings, have become enormously popular. It is now possible to supply fire-approved acoustic panels that meet the current requirements for use in public and private buildings, as well as the project market.

With our ASTM E84 / Class A approved panels, we adhere to the requirements of both design and legislation. That’s why we are proud to deliver to public buildings, such as hotels, theatres, schools, and more – buildings where good and beautiful acoustic solutions are essential!

The industry’s only fire-approved acoustic panel

The only fire-rated acoustic panels in the industry with felt slat design. Our specially designed polyester felt is the essence of our innovative fire-resistant acoustic panels with slat design, marking a milestone in fire-rated construction. This unique felt is the foundation for the industry’s first fire-retardant, slat-based acoustic panel for wall and ceiling installation, which meets the strictest requirements according to current U.S. standards ASTM E84 / Class A.

“As a master carpenter, I can highly recommend the fire-retardant acoustic panels. They are incredibly easy to install and very user-friendly.”
Rune Linderoth, Linderoth Entreprise ApS

The panel’s construction

Our acoustic panels are composed of three components that provide you with the best room acoustics and an aesthetic appeal.

The veneer

The veneer, or surface of the slat, is the final finish that defines our acoustic panels. Along with the rest of the panel, the veneer contributes to both matching and creating contrast with the rest of the interior.

The slat

Our FR slats are produced from plywood. The more angles sound has to pass through, the more it is reduced. The structure and placement of the slat on the board cause the sound waves to break before they hit the board, further enhancing the reduction.

The felt

Sound moves in waves and is reflected back into the room when it hits hard surfaces. By using a soft felt, the sound passes through the felt and is absorbed, thus reducing the echo in the room.
