How to install acoustic panels using mounting adhesive
Mounting adhesive is a good solution if you want a permanent attachment without visible screws or brackets. It provides an elegant and clean appearance, especially when the panels are installed in private homes where aesthetics are the focus. Adhesive mounting is best suited for flat and stable walls – e.g., drywall, concrete, or wood – and requires that the panels will not need to be removed again.
Advantages:- No visible screws or brackets
- Quick and invisible installation
- Perfect for decorative wall installations

Guide
If you want to avoid screws and tools, mounting adhesive is a simple and effective solution. It is a good method if you want a neat and quick installation on a smooth and stable wall.
Step 1
Prepare wall and panels
Make sure the wall is clean, dry, and even. Wipe away any dust and dirt so the adhesive bonds as well as possible. If the panels need to be trimmed in length or width, we recommend using a plunge saw or circular saw for a clean, precise cut. To protect the surface, you can place a strip of painter’s tape over the area you’ll be cutting. This reduces the risk of the surface splintering when the saw cuts through the lamellae.
Step 2
Apply adhesive
Apply the mounting adhesive directly to the back of the panel in long, even beads. Cover both the edges and the center so the panel makes good contact with the wall.
Step 3
Mount the panel
Lift the panel up and place it against the wall. Press it firmly with even pressure over the entire surface, so that it sits well and securely. Hold it for a moment until the adhesive begins to set.
Step 4
Continue with the next panel
Repeat the process panel by panel. Make sure that the joints are tight and that the lines between the panels are straight and harmonious.
NOTE!
If you have an electrical outlet
Measure out for the cut-out, and use a plunge saw, circular saw, or Fein cutter to cut through the panel. Use a craft knife to carefully cut the felt. If a lamella comes loose, it can easily be reattached with a drop of superglue.
If you want a neat, well-defined finish on the cut-out, you can make use of our frames, which are designed to give a clean, professional result.
